How many city blocks are widened highways going to displace? The costs of having to relocate businesses, homes, churches, schools, and other important fixtures in well-established communities are not only exorbitant, but also racism, bigotry, ethnic prejudices, and social economic status, all play a role just to cure the gas pedal blues of those who have no interest in supporting such communities. The alternative road for Jacksonville is already built, they can drive around the town on I-295.
